Granted those were best of fives, so there’s less vetoes, but it’s still notable. Interestingly he did veto it against Astrea at EWC, so I guess he likes it against Terran, but not against Protoss?

Dear Mr. Lowko, would you consider to explain, what makes a map Terran, Zerg or Protoss-favoured? I heard a lot of this statistic, but as a noob, I have no idea, what actually contributes to these winrate-ratios. Thanks a lot=) if you find the time (maybe while introducing the new maps?)

Some maps have tendencies or characteristics that are race favoured, for instance some have lots of choke points ideal for siege tanks. Or some have smaller distance between base ideal for rush strategies. Some have lots of blind spots for nydus, and so on

As an EFL speaker myself, I can tell you, the kind of speech pattern Lowko exhibits is very much common on people who've had to practice their pronunciation when studying English. So, it's as if you were following a script, your choice of words and intonation are dependent on your memorization skills, rather than your ability to convey your ideas. 😅

I'm in favor of the "pervert pillars" being removed. Zerg already have by far the best map control/scouting mechanic in the game with Creep, but allowing them to park their Overlords on the opponent's doorstep for the first two minutes of the game, allowing them to spy on the opinion's expansion and possibly the comings and goings of their units depending on the map layout, is unfair. And it's virtually no risk or drawback, the opponent won't be able to see the Overlord and have anti-air to kill it for a few minutes, and by the time they do the loss of that Overlord means nothing to the Zerg.
