StarCraft 2: Serral's FRESH NEW Queen Drop vs Classic! (Best-of-3)

Serral has gotten more aggressive lately in StarCraft 2. In this best-of-3 series versus Classic, the World Champion decides to go for a Queen drop using an Overlord to harass the Probes inside of Classic's bases.

.... naa it wouldve been nerved anyways, i think there are more zerg players in the most dominant goats overall. that may ofc just be bcuz the best players can get the most out of that race but idk. dark, reynor and rouge are definatly not that far away from serral in terms of skill, read and mechanics i guess. but serral is definatly the "michael schumacher" of sc2! xD

@@a123456789b I still think that change was way too brash. They couldn't find a more elegant solution? Maybe nerfing the rocket launcher damage? Instead they remove the most signature move of the infestor and just gave them some bootleg dark swarm.

Don't forget to mention the hosts for the entertainment value. We haven't seen those in a while either. But i somehow wonder we don't see them more often, as the terrans meta tends to turtling.

1st game almost felt like it was Reynor or Rogue playing rather than Serral. Used to be rare to see Serral be so aggressive and I think this change covers his weakness of being more predictable than other top zergs.

I haven't played legit since the game came out, but I think the pro SC2 scene is one of the best in all of esports. It takes a min to understand all of whats going on, but I love it.

I like the change in Serrals playstyle. He still absolutely dominates, but these days he is a lot more aggressive which makes it more interesting! I've been waiting for those queen drops for years!

Mid game Serral is now the ultimate killer. I can't believe how strong he is right now...! He destroyed Rogue, Clem and Classic like a GM would destroy a Gold player. It doesn't matter what you see, think or do, he will own you. Anyway. Don't mind me, I never played the game so I don't really know anything BUT for protoss I think the best move you have against Seral (until queens have air range nerf) is to use adept to scout the location of all 3 or 2 overload and kill them with 1 or 2 phoenix, into oracle into ground army. At 60 supply I would think that loosing 3 overload is painful and will slow down Seral much more than 2 drones kill at the risk of loosing the oracle... At that point you can counter the scouting overlord I guess ? My point is, the only time I saw him having trouble with anybody was that legendary game against Clem, where they were both at 450 apm all the game microing/defending 3 to 4 armies at the same time. I'm pretty sure you remember that game where clem was sieging up front seral's base, dropping in some base AND both players were microing a single Liberator/Lurker fight at the bottom of the map like it was nothing .... Damn, feels like Seral is unbeatable since IEM...

Serral has 7500 MMR. For reference if he gave 2000 of that to a gold player that gold player would be GM and he would STILL be GM as well

Swarm host is such a cool unit. I wish they were reworked somehow to be more viable. Maybe make them cost less supply and resources, but have the little bugs cost minerals like interceptors do. I'd love to see them become a part of zerg armies and a legit harassment tool that doesn't gimp the rest of zerg's army.
