This was a brilliant guide to low-poly graphics, so far I have only done photorealistic renders, so the workflow is completely different here. Really enjoyed this explanation! Vielen Dank!

The most fun thing i know is to make like 20 different asset parts and then build a scene with them. Sort of like combining them like you would with blocks in minecraft. Finding the right asset to use is such a great creative outlet.

I was going to go down the rabbit hole and install Windows NT and various tools of the time. But seeing that this can be done in Blender is fantastic because now I can use Godot. Thank you sir!

Would love to see a more longer form, I really liked the skull tutorial and the Human. I'm just starting out so more longer forms for me are way better. But, seriously if you made this into a course I would buy it and I also subbed.

@@StarkCraftsYT haha hell yeah!! btw, when importing to a game engine, is it okay having topology that's warped? like a square that's not flat? or should i take time to segment those into triangles?
@StarkCraftsYT
@StarkCraftsYT 3 жыл бұрын
It depends on the engine and if you want to get a hard lowpoly edges or smooth faces. On this one I personally would say export it as a test and check it in your engine if it looks good your done :'D (terrible tip)

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but do you prefer to model the whole level in Unity, or do you just like making the assets then making the level in Unreal?
@StarkCraftsYT

I prefer modelling the level first because I have more creative control, but for big open worlds or simple level I like making every in unreal
