You don't even need old Tekken legacy since childhood to do well at Tekken 8, as long as you played Tekken 7 you should be fine. Hell I'm seeing fgc guys on Twitch who only played 2d fighters doing great in Tekken 8, and already reaching purple ranks, and aiming higher. Dale is just a scrub, who was never very good at fighting games. He probably thinks that beating kids in Tekken 3 and 3rd Strike, when he was in highschool, means he is great at fighting games 😂

That law had impeccable movement and spacing. One of the biggest problem ltg has is he only practices his chars combos. He doesn't try to learn matchup, how to open up certain chars and defend against them but relies heavily on textbook fundamentals. In short, he doesn't adapt well and a good players reads him like a book

"This would never happen to me in any other Tekken game!" Bruh it's happened to you in every single game you've played. Especially Tekken games. Tekken in particular just completely exposes how poor of a player he is. And it's not really because of his mechanical skill. It's more how he's just so unwilling to learn anything about any of the games he plays. He has no patience, picks a character that can "zone" and poke like Victor, and makes his gameplan "Keep away". The second the other player sees what he's doing they just start to walk all over him. Tekken for the most part has never really had zoners like the way Street Fighter or MK does, granted there are some exceptions to that. Victor really shows how poor of a player he is because most other Victor players I've seen online never "zone" to play keep away. They "zone" TO GET IN FAST AND HARD. Victor is not meant to be played like Reiko from MK, he's more so meant to be played akin to Noctis from Tekken 7.
