Suicide is irrational? Tell that to someone with locked-in syndrome who thinks life isn't worth living anymore. I often find myself agreeing with Loyal Rue, but his thinking on suicide is apparently problematic as he might be the type who would be extremely paternalistic and dogmatic in a medical context. Speaking of choices, i find it telling that a movement (that has some Catholics in it ironically) advocating for physician assisted suicide for the terminally ill is called Compassion in CHOICES.
