Did you go period wth the bolts. I’d imagine it originally would have has BSF and BSW. But looking great.

Yes and no. There a few odd metric bolts where they cant be seen but all others ar BSF or in the majority of cases UNF as UNF are very easy to find here and not as costly as BSF. The only BSW are the armour bolts.

@@loydcarrier2197 As the Americans came over with UNF in that time you can always claim the Brits used them then.

@@tridbant Loyds did indeed use USA made parts, both the engine and front axle can be made in Dagenham or Detroit according to the wartime parts book. The axles are specially marked as they use UNF fasteners i believe. My engine is 1942 from Detroit but the axle is british.

Yes, the original was lost, I only had the bottom section. I found an original and measures it all then made a new one in 8mm steel.
