This dude went from home lingo South Africa accent to coconut real quick.😂
@madee7644 жыл бұрын
Well he went to model c school, think he was trying to sound as African as possible, but always loses it and accent goes to coconut. Reminds me Micheal Blackson who does jokes with a West African accent but in the middle of a set accent switches to American

Well,when Loyiso is overseas he has to tell his jokes clearly ,he has to pronounce his words for them to understand but when he's in South Africa he speaks the way he wants. Same as Trevor ,his way of talking is different when he's in SA. I've seen both their shows at my work a couple of times and then heard the differences in their international shows

It's got nothing to do with Model C schooling ,you want people to understand what you are saying if you want them to laugh.
@madee7644 жыл бұрын
@@ashlouw5350 , no one is disputing that. His accent though switches between coconut and township all the time even when performing in SA

@@madee764some things are going to stick,like pronunciation of words , he's done a lot of international gigs so its going to happen and it's not that hectic coconut. But I must say in person he's a down to earth guy or not flashy

You can definitely tell he's South African by his "r" pronunciation loll it's been years since I was there and he made me miss the country

I love the variety of accents in SA.

@Francois van der Ross is that so? Check your observation game.

@Francois van der Ross I'm Zambian and I can tell you my family, still in Zambia, doesn't pronounce things the way he does. Same with people from Zimbabwe and I could even say the Swazis even have a different way of speaking compared to people that speak Zulu or Xhosa so it might just be that you don't pay attention to linguistics or accents much.

High, maybe because they're laughing at the joke

Laughter generally triggers more laughter. Its why they have the canned laughter on sitcoms timed with the jokes the actors make...to make us at home more likely to laugh/enjoy the show.
