McCallie is impressive. My HS used to play them when we were constantly 1 or 2 in the nation. That was back in 2001. My team has since become meh. McCallie is still that good. That’s amazing for a HS team to have that kind of staying power.

The best highschool boys soccer team to ever play together in the history of highschool soccer was the 2010 East Kentwood Falcons from the west side of michigan. Had 3 players turn full pro directly after the season skipping d1 college opportunity and there last season of Academy and head to Europe. Had one residency under 17 national team player, 4 ODP Region 2 team players, two kids who went and played at michigan, 1 at MSU, and another at Butler, and multiple who went on to play d3 and NAIA.

If you don't know what to do, I want you to get on your knees, and pray this prayer with your heart: Jesus, I believe you died on the cross for my sins, and was ressurected on the third day. I believe you came to the Earth, to pay for our sins. Thank you for dieing on the cross for my sins, in Your Name, I pray, amen. I don't know who is reading this, but if you ever fill an empty whole, which cannot be fulfilled, the only way to fulfill is by Jesus. Part of the problem is they don't play on a proper pitch. The field is too narrow and the ball moves too quickly without real grass. So it just turns into a crazy free for all.

a SPA is an auto yellow according to rules Stopping a Promising Attack (SPA). The foul that led to initial PK is a DOGSO (denying obvious goal scoring opportunity) is a red card unless in the box that leads to PK than card is downgraded to yellow. There differences between SPA and DOGSO for example location on field where foul occurs, how many defenders between ball carrier and goal and others but ref seemed to do a good job from watching the recap. Obvious high tension game so trying to let them play but also keep things in control...tough to balance.

While they are ranked 2 now they aren’t even that good compared to the team i play on. Riverside soccer was ranked lower this year but the difference is crazy. RiverRidge struggled building out of the back and keeping the ball compared to riverside who would hold the ball for 80% of the game. If you watch riverside at the end of the year they are hands down the best team in the nation.

East Coast talent doesn't play for high schools, it's all travel, select and MLS development teams. Playing for a high school was insulting. If you weren't playing semi-pro by 10th grade, you weren't going anywhere and it's definite pay to play.
