You can't go wrong with Feuerschwanz (Foi-er-shwans)😂 They're all great musicians, some of them play muliple instruments, and their live shows are nothing but a big party! Their songs are usually in german, sometimes with some latin phrases, but they also do covers as bonus tracks on their albums, like this one. Other covers they released are for example "Warriors of the world united" and "Blinding lights", if you are more interested in their original stuff try "Untot im Drachenboot", "Memento Mori" or the party song "Metfest". Fun fact: many of their videos are shot in the area around Nuremberg, Germany, where they live 😉 Greetings from Germany! 🤘

Feuerschwanz (Fire Tail) was founded as a parody band in 2004 and while they've become more serious (and more metal) over the years, they obviously kept the humorous attempt mostly. If I had to pick one off of their originals to recommend, it would be Untot im Drachenboot (Undead on the Dragon Boat). Johanna von der Vögelweide (Johanna of Screwmeadow), the violin player, also plays hurdy gurdy. Prinz Hodenherz III (Prince Testicleheart III), the long haired singer, is a multi instrumentalist who plays backpipes, all kinds of flutes and whistles, mouth harp and different accoustic guitars like the mandolin. Hauptmann Feuerschwanz (Captain Firedick [yes the translation differs from the bandname]), the singer in chainmail, is the last remaining founding member, he also plays accoustic guitar and is often seen with a thunderharp aka halbass (half halberd, half bass), unfortunately that's just a prop. Other members are: guitarist Hans der Aufrechte (Hans the Upright) bassist Jarne Hodinson (Jarne Testison) drummer Rollo Schönhaar (Rollo Prettyhair), the newest member as their drummer of 16 years Sir Lanzeflott (Sir Lancequick) had left in 2021. stage & video preformer / backup dancer Mieze Musch-Musch (Kitty Puss-Puss) stage & video preformer / backup dancer Mieze Myu (Kitty Myow) who was guest musician with her harp on a few songs under her real name Jenny.

Feuerschwanz are so much fun to watch. They do their own music but are currently working on a full cover album (with both already released bonus tracks and new stuff) Will have covers from everything from Europe, The Weeknd, Amon Amarth, to Ed Sheeran and Megadeath. Their own stuff are mostly in German but still worth listening to if you like the mix of folk and power metal.

for the record, bavaria is a region in Germany ! (famous for the oktonerfest in München where beer flows everywhere....)

Bavaria also has the famous "soccer" (that is how you, and only americans call it: the rest of the world call it football) team : Bayern Münchern ! One of the best since FOOTBALL was created ! And BMW means : "Bayerische Motor Werkstatt". You should learn a bit about the countries, you could discover so much...

Is that really synth? I mean, they have an actual flutist in the band (the long haired vocalist plays various wind instruments).
