GOSH this and masks 1 is just nothing short of an incredible series. i'm in love with just about everything in this -- the dialogue feels so natural with how it flows and interrupts sometimes, while still having that kind of dramatic noir kind of tone that pairs so nicely with the black shading visually. some of the shots are just absolutely lovely too. i especially love the detective's little aha moment in the bathroom, the shot at 10:04 (again, the lighting!), and especially something about that small shot at 14:24. this all just captures that old noir movie feel so well it's hard to not get wrapped up in it, and that makes it so easy to forget these are small toys, lol. not to mention how different of a story this is from most other lps series and short films ive seen, really makes for something special. i love these two and how the dynamic between them kinda changes over the course of the story. absolutely wonderful work on this!!!

This came out SOOO GOOD. I’m so amazed with it!! The dark lighting looks so good and it does a good job of setting the top. The sets themselves also look phenomenal!
