Dan that is so inspiring anyone who wants to see just what can be achieved with this technique in the uk couldn’t find a better place than your channel and finishing in my old stomping ground just as a reference for you next time I’ve caught more Zander under that bridge and bottom lock than anywhere else on the Hatton section including those two couple weeks ago brilliant work 60 amazing 🤩

You made the 60! Fair play... The Z's have been tough recently. If I'd have known you were in the area I could of suggested a couple of places myself. My Mate fished Warwick last week, it took them 3hr to get a bite and then had 30 fish fairly quickly. Right place right time and bloody lucky as well.

@@LRFandHRF Yes,I sat next to him in the pub,a really interesting guy,shared loads of thoughts and thinking methods He has been studying the fish behaviour in the harbour for the last couple of years , especially the flounder. A lot of his thought processes are in the book. Incidentally 3 of our las shires chapter had a visit to fens yesterday and we caught over 340 fish between us in tiny lures and flies. Mainly perch plus rudd,now that's crazy

How do you go on about checking what permits are required for all the different waters you fish?

Google mainly. Most waters are covered by a club and will show up in a Google search
