It's so brutal that this is now a every other week show instead of weekly, you can't make me an addict of this content and then take it away for 2 weeks
@smamsland Жыл бұрын
wait, hasn't it been every other week since the start? i would love to have it evey week too, but i'm pretty sure this is is how they've been doing the show all along.

Theres already less deck diversity than I'd like (I mean it took this long to have martyr proc!), so two weeks hurts that.

It feels like buddies having fun, playing magic, and that's all i want to watch. Please sir, can i have some more? Much love from belgium

*spoilers* Wheeler still won game 2, so it wasn't a game-ruining misplay, but at 30:23 Serge says he takes the Ancient Tomb damage but actually doesn't. That means the decision made at 50:31 by Wheeler was made when Serge was at 3, when he should have been at 1. Therefore, Serge was dead on board to an echo paid, lethal Karmic Guide being protected by Giver of Runes. Wheeler still won, so not a massive issue, but the game ended up being closer than it actually needed to be, with Wheeler winning from a top deck.
@Phingolfina Жыл бұрын
Serge also misplaced earlier by not attacking though as well. Then the fiend hunter exiled the walking ballista which should have been in the graveyard. Game 2 wasn't as tight as either player would want. But I agree, glad that Ben got the win because the missed life is more important than the other misplays.
@PopeJupiter Жыл бұрын
There was actually a major misplay earlier that meant his Giver would've been dead: Alseid of Life's Bounty can't save Giver from Ballista. It only gives Protection from a color, and Ballista is colorless.
@GFreeGamer Жыл бұрын
@@PopeJupiter He had activated Dauntless that same turn so GIver was Indestructible anyway

@joep1029 Жыл бұрын
@@joshuacarder5690 at 39:53 Serge also correctly calculates his mana needs for the turn and lets Wheeler have a card. Then when Wheeler is telling him how to play his top he forgets to pay for it. This causes him to later think he miscounted his mana needs. This let him cast Skrelv. Little understandable misplays all around.

In response to about 16:00 in, I'd love for one of the FNPF's where they do "meme-y" CanLander to be wheeler showing up with Martyr-Proc but turned up to 15 in regards to "ruining your fun". And yes I mean with Settle the Wreckage type stuff. Basically I guess I want Stax, but Stax where the wincon is "opponent decides to leave the table and disappear into the woods".

1:08:10 I feel like Jitte presents more on board pressure where as clamp is card advantage and offboard pressure. I think with Wheeler having as many creatures as he did clamp was better, but I also don't think grabbing Jitte is inherently wrong there either if Wheeler is confident in keeping board presence with what he has in hand.
