Skrelv was missing again. Elesh Norn was mother to all machines but this particular mite seemed to disobey her in a most infuriating manner. Norn knew the mite was just running away as a ploy for attention, so she played the doting mother and followed Skrelvs chittering into the depths of her temple. It is here that Skrelv unveiled it's devious plan. As Norn traversed the stairs to her temples lower levels Skrelv awaited, hidden on the very last step. Norn fell for the devious mites trap and stepped upon the pointed porcelain exoskeleton that protected her pest of a pet. Her perfection was finally tarnished as oil spilled from her marred sole. The expletives she unleashed upon Skrelv are said to still echo through all of Phyrexia. The end.

Glissa's story is probably the most tragic one in all of Magic, given that she barely manages to save Mirrodin, only to immediately get turned Phyrexian, and further Compleation to what she is now. I would LOVE to see her get a redemption arc someday.

Set Boosters have been themed since they started with Zendikar Rising, but the theming and color correlation has gotten much stronger in the past year. At this point, it's actually entirely possible to use Set boosters to do a sealed event (excluding List/Commander cards, obviously).

My phyrexian fanfiction is basically at this point a completely alternate world :P like, 500 years in the future Phyrexia has renounced it's conquering ways, and in their absence only grown stronger, for if you can have them join you willingly they will be that much stronger. And I have sort of ended up starting writing a history lecture from phrexian college on phyrexian history 101.

Those who guarded the Mother of Machines now had no way to reach her without stepping on what spread all over their monumental sphere. As dangerous as the oil was to those outside this plane, the shards of evergrowing, ever multiplying duplo was far more dangerous to those inside the plane. Ages from six months until five years old they say...the ageless Phyrexians fall outside the restrictions, united by nothing but brightly coloured doom.
