There are lot of similar pick in champ pick this year. There some niche pick but most of the time we see simillar 3~5 champion in every lane. Top gnar/jayce/renek/aatrox. Jg udyr/hecarim/lilia/nid or olaf. Mid ori/viktor/azir. Bot kaisa/jinx/tris. Sup is pretty diverse but most game it ali/rell/thresh/tk

At 0:47 would probably want to see G2 picking something like Ziggs plus Taric/Zilean/Lulu botlane, Tristana going midlane into Orianna and Karma going toplane against Gnar. Tristana and Karma would both have pretty easy lanes and botlane could freely scale. Udyr would get alot of value with Karma and Lulu/Taric/Zilean.

Just as a sidenote - sadly there is no real visible difference between silence and ending canalizations. If you go in practicemode and pick either Kassadin or Viktor - both times when you cast the corresponding ability (Kassa q / Viktor r) you see the SILENCED script above the head of the puppet or bot. Also if you play gainst Kassa you´re legitimately silenced for a split sec - same with Viktor. :/

Around 16:30 Karma isnt the problem. Rekkles on Karma IS a problem though. G2 needs him on damage. And G2 needs a comp with more than 1 damage threat. If they moved the Karma to top or support and gave Jankos something with the ability to engage, i wouldnt have minded the draft as much.

That Orianna shockwave at the end of game 4 truly proves that mages ARE overpowered. This is also shown by the prevalence of other mages likes Sylas in the game. Of course most mage apologist (low iq players) will try and say that having 120 AP on an Item (plus 30%) is not op because it's "too expensive". EVEN AFTER IT GETS ITS COST REDUCED!?!?!? I'm surprised players like Nemesis (Veigar onetrick) are not currently owning competitive with how overpowered mages are. I truly do hope this facade of him being Gen.G's "streamer" (clearly going to korea to replace badd) shows how ADCs deserve another buff. WE CAN'T HAVE OUR BEST PLAYER (rekkels) PLAYING MINI-MAGES (enchanters)??? WTF RIOT!!!

Draft strategies probably. Camille doesn't really fit some comps, since they go for engaging big CC toplaners, and Gragas kinda beats Shen's usefulness in fights by ulting him or whoever has Shen's R on them and Gragas doesn't need to be the toplaner for this. Ornn probably drags a Gnar ban with him for Laning phase and people seem to have a lot of trouble with stridebreaker+sterak champions to just throw an Ornn there to play for item upgrades and late game fights with his ult.

Every time I hear a mid laner cry about mages being bad I just remember back when bot laners cried about ADC's being bad and mid laners saying "just adapt and play different champions scrub." Zero sympathies given, just adapt and play different champions. The same argument crying about control mages being meta applies to Sivir and Ashe as ADC's. They're generally picked when all other options are so worthless as least they give move speed, slows, and/or stuns.

The item rework made him less viable. I know the tank options are less optimal now than before, the fact that he can't get 2 reforged items hurt him due to them being exclusively mythics (I think), and besides that and the free upgrades, I don't think he does much as a tank over the other options, like Cho, Malphite, and Sion.
