@marcjessie8156 Thanks for the kind words. I try to answer the questions that I would ask and show as much detail so that is easy to understand what I am talking about. I hope this helped you out. Thanks again for the comment and for watching.

Thanks for another video, my friend. As mentioned in a previous video you did, I also had to do notching with my truck. Hated to do it, but it was necessary. Looking forward to your next one.

@yourpcmd Yeah I tried every fitment that I could manage to not notch the crossmember, but it had to be done. As always thanks for watching, the support, and the comment!

Don, square corners create a stress riser at the point. Even a very small radius will virtually eliminate that stress riser. Just something to think about. Welds look fine, 1/8" steel probably doesn't need to be beveled. Looking good, interesting build.

@stevea6722 Good points I didn’t mention. I did bevel some of the corners and now that I am thinking about it I wished I would have beveled a little more than I did. Thanks for the information, commenting and watching!

I did a 7 qt pan on sons 6.2 on his 98 and cut it about the same as I did for the 509 BB I have in mine .

@backyardbuilttrucks1 I didn’t want to make the cut, but really no way around it with my set up. How is yours working out, any issues? Thanks for watching and commenting.
