Man i just bought a 94 k2500 burb and im seriously debating on doing an ls swap. It has the big block already and i have access to a 6.2 out of an Escalade but i think id rather go with a 6.0. How much did the swap cost you in parts?

@@dariusdunn9631 the link below has a lot of information on the wiring harness. You can use the factory harness to run the ls swap, you will have to re pin the connectors, cut and splice wires for the injectors Let me know if you have any other questions lt1swap.com/wiringharness.htm

Hey hey, any LS engine would go in with ease, it all depends on your budget. The 4.8 and 5.3 is more economical, the 6.0 or 6.2 will give the better performance. It really all depends on your budget Let me know if you have anymore questions

Itz a 97 suburban with a 5.3 swap Engine mods: tr224 cam, ls6 intake upgraded fuel injectors it also has 4.10 gears with a Detroit trutrac I had it dyno tuned I would suggest a tune to start The factory tune is jacked up with torque management and other restrictions Let me know if you have any other questions

Wow I guess seat belts don't pertain to you bud. That was some foolish sht. At least dude in passenger seat was smart to put his on. Don't get me wrong truck sounds great but doing what you were doing and risking the possibility of someone cutting out in front of you and you not wearing a seat belt think about it bud people are stupid on the roads and don't pay attention sometimes. Be safe next time for you life is more important then not wearing your seat belt.

@@originalman8497 it took me several months to do the swap, I did a cam swap and the ls6 intake all at the same time with swap. The LS6 intake came will a few challenges; choosing the right water pump, spacing the water pump out from the block etc.... It was alot of trial error to get everything working in harmony Just to do an ls swap really should only take maybe weekend just to get the engine in and running.
