I've always had a soft spot for orange muscle cars. Guess it goes back to Bo and Luke Duke. Pretty sure they never wore seat belts either. That interior was clean, stitching was exceptional. Thanks Shawn for another dream build!

if that's a 71, then it has 1972 turn signal lights in the front. 1971 split them in two. Colour combo is great, doesn't look "Halloween" pumpkin-ish. I have an 86 Mustang in competition orange and the factory GT black war paint, it looked good when it wore blacked rims too. Folks are loath to try it out, but it comes off well--but I had the factory grey interior, i like the caramel choice here better. And its nice to not have 1,000 hp dyno queen under the hood. some folks forget, its nice to just have a cruiser car.

@@AutotopiaLA thank you. i'll guess the more the owner drove it, the more he got used to it, and the more comfortable he felt adding power. I live in the snow belt, so jumping back and forth from old cars with cast iron steering boxes and no ABS or traction control to daily drivers with all that technology to save you...well, let's just say, don't be using the cellphone when you take out your toy in spring and the learning curve begins again :)

I love how people are pulling the front seats out of all kinds of cars you wouldn't expect, I've seen Audi, Alfa Romeo and now Mercedes and they all look great. That shifter was really cool, the paint and interior were all on point looking fantastic, but the icing on the cake was the bottle in the boot =D (oops trunk hehe)

I went flowmaster stainless w/Borla mufflers & tips. Borla look odd on 72’ Elco, str8 out the back. but I’m used to it. And It’s her signature now. & HATED going w/flow master. But love the sound. 👉🏽NO “DRONE”❤️ Zero complaints. Lopes nicely & only loud at speed. Sometimes y’never know🤷🏽‍♂️

Im not a fan of this style of build but this one is very nice. Hopefully he gets it tuned soon. That surging at idle while in gear is a lean condition. Needs a looser converter as well.
