Thanks for showing us that even the Pros get poor results upon the first few start-up attempts. We all feel a little better knowing that - but we're sure you can track down the problem and resolve it. Very cool LS Swap! Love the custom upgrades too!

Really dig that you didn't go all digital with the dash! Analog clock in an old Merc is just classy ♥️

This is hard and fun work you are doing boys. A job well done on this build. One step at a time 👌

Friendly suggestion from a fellow gear head: Have those exhaust manifolds coated!! That's a powerful motor and a heavy car. When under heavy acceleration (which better be always), I can't see how those manifolds won't be glowing bright orange. This is the BEST build on the tube!!!
@SalvagetoSavageАй бұрын
Thank you! The manifolds should be fine on this build. The owner isn't going to be beating on this motor too much. If we knew he was going to be really put the hammer down, we'd coat them like you suggested!

Noooo!!!! I was locked in for that glorious start up. This is KZbin, you're supposed to post it starting and say you figured it out first try. 🙄

This is probably already fixed by now, but I would guess it is a bad ground somewhere. Love the video's guys!

Bad ground, coil wires incorrectly placed. You’ll figure it out! Thanks Andrew, David and Mike! See you next week!

The coils were definitely bad, but the final issue with the no-start was something so freakin simple

We figured out the issue and got it running the very next morning! We'll let you guys know what the issue was on the next episode. It wasn't a bad ground but something else that was super simple!

Really need to buy a 3D Printer for stuff like that gauge cluster panel. Check out B is for Build on how he uses his setup for making custom parts.

I'm sure you know that a low voltage battery will not start a computer based ignition. 10 volts is minimum.

Y’all really need a 3D printer in order to build custom gauge bezels.
@SalvagetoSavage24 күн бұрын
A 3d printer would be cool! We actually 3d printed a few parts in the past. That design process is a whole beast on its own though!
@P-J-W-77724 күн бұрын
@ I noticed after I had posted this that y’all had some parts for a couple seat printed. I’m still playing catch up as the KZbin algorithm hasn’t been showing me your videos in my feed. Keep up the great work.

Do you remember the last video of the car when it didn't start and you brought parts from your old car for it? What happened after that? Yes, you say that it started. Why didn't you complete the series and end it with a video of it driving on the road? Don't we, as followers, deserve for you to respect our thinking and minds? Please don't repeat your saying that it started and is driving. This is not enough for us.
