To be honest that's probably where i'll end up. The government and the food industry is doing it's best to destroy what's left of Finlands family farms, and i recently contracted diabetes so i'm not allowed to drive trucks. So yah, right now it looks like i'll be doing this for some time :)

Nice video! Basically you can do the same thing with the Saitek wheel and the side panel that is developed for this game ... I use the left stick och the wheel together with the stick on the side panel ... it´s really smooth and the small stick on the wheel gives you a lot more precision than one would expect from it! !

It helps alot to increase your mouse sensitivity in-game to 200% for wood harvesting if you don't have joysticks.

Nice setup. I have the same joysticks but as far as I can see you have the wrong joystick setup according to real machine operating. I can see that you turn the main arm with right joystick axis left-right but the correct setup is to do this with left joystick. If you setup the correct behaviour in standard game, this will result in that wheel loaders and other tractors fronloader does not work properly (with right joystick forward/backward as frontloader down and up and right stick left-right as open/close bucket. This is the same for excavators. The left joystick is for extend/contract second arm with forward/backward moving and left-right is for turning. To get all vehicles work properly I ended up in doing all forestry machines as own mods and correct the inputbindings to work for tractors/wheelloaders and configure forestry mods to work correct in this standard inputbinding file. When this is done you can also quite easy change the speed and acceleration of the crane functions so they feels as real machine. In standard in game they go way to slow. It is too bad that they have stopped selling the Attack 3 joysticks when they're so good for left and right hand. A good other option is the Thrustmaster T-16000M cause it can be converted from right to left hand.

claudenecir oliveira This behaviour of the included harvester is really bad. If you configure the joysticks to work ok with harvesting, it's really messed up if you try to use a wheelloader or the frontloader of any other tractor. To get this work as it should, I've made own mods for the forest machines where I've remapped the driving functions to the correct ones. So if you want to use the standard vehicles it is not possible to keep the online gaming possibility to do this, but in own mods you can do it. I think of publish my machine mods when I'm relly pleased with all functions that I want in them.

Simon Dahlquist Thanks for returning friend, I downloaded another mod ponsse scorpione forwarder and right gave the movement of boom, arm, rotator and turning, I'm using logitech joystick atack 3 is running well now, that is the standard we use for training here in Brazil.

claudenecir oliveira Sounds great that you've managed to fix it in the right way. Is the wheelloader working as it should too? (The right joystick up/down should be frontloader arm and left/right frontloader tool. I assume that you in Brazil also work with the standard mapping for twin joystick controls for hydraulic machines: Left stick up/down is extend/contract second arm, left stick left/right is arm turning left/right. Right stick up/down is boom down/up and right stick left/right is turning grapple counder clock/clockwise. Have you also found that you can change the speed of every function separately so that the machine start to feels lik a real ones?

mhm, after seeing your video i wanted to get myself some Attack 3 sticks. Too bad no longer for sale, and none on the second hand market. So i went for 2 madcatz cyborg v1 flight sticks but i am having issues with the drivers in windows :(

it works, followed your topic on fs-uk and some one had the some problem as i had. editing the inputbinding.xml was the solution to my problem.

Simon Dahlquist i was thinking about the T-16000M, but i wanted more controls for my thumbs. That is the reason i went for the madcatz. after doing some testing and editing of the inputbinding file everything works perfect now :D.

jonha134 Kör en del med frontlastare, men jag tycker inte att det känns särskilt likt. Som Henrik säger så fattas det en viss mjukhet/linjäritet i spelet, det är lite väl mycket ja/nej som gör det lite knepigt att köra mjukt.
