I'd agree the crossover will not cook the transmission but a wrap would help most of the heat and energy inside the pipe vs in your engine bay.

The best is when your holding the pipe and v-band clamp, then you accidentally drop the nut and spend 1/2h looking for it 😖

Mod Everything thats why i love the thumb latches on the vibrant pieces. Leave the nut loose on the t-bolt and flip the latch.

For a newbie with MIG, what is easier to weld, schedule 10 to the cast manifold, or 304 gauge 16 or 409 gauge 16 to the cast manifolds?

How much would you charge for modded manifolds like that?

Everyday FPV if you supply the manifolds, it would be about 4-500. About 200 in materials and few hours of labor.

Brandon I tried emailing you a couple of weeks back (2/21)and never got a response. I'm starting my 1st LS4 Swap.....well not just my first LS4 Swap....also my first LS swap (might as well go big or go home, right?) and was looking for some info on doing an LS4/F40 6spd swap. You can get better manifolds to get from the aftermarket and the ls7 oem. The stock stuff was made for stock use.
