All great until you skip over the removal process. I thought it was about the whole proceedure, but I guess not. It's just all you talking and not really showing any of the proceedures. You waste a lot of time talking and not actually showing the proceedure.

Turns out you need to change the little cable on the passenger front and passenger rear on both ends to make the “check brakes” go off

What's up with the naked back clip? You removed the brake wear sensor line....it goes through the back clip with the loop in the middle. Bro seriously, you just wasted money on new pads...the chatter was probably from the clip not being properly secured on the brake pad shim. FREE TIP: always recheck your work and take pics BEFORE you dismantle things when you're unfamiliar with how to do it.

Second thought the early Gen 4 only have pad sensors on the passenger sides. So this view on drivers there is none or a connector to add one. I bought this car almost 6 years ago and the brakes were the first thing i tackled. That rattle happened after and i chased all the other parts than came back to redo the brakes. After this time the rattle is gone.

Bro I hate to rub it in and hopefully you don't take it that way buut.... You just totally spent money unnecessarily so replacing brake pads that still had what looked like 75% of their life left to 'em. 50% at the very least. Hopefully you saved them and maybe you can put them back on once these new ones actually, and I mean once they are LEGITIMATELY worn out. You saw what was causing the chatter, and regardless, you surely saw that the old pad and new pad width were damn near the same.

Well its been a few years But i tell you these are the easiest pads to change. Remove wheel and retaining clips. Pull pads press pistons back install new pads. I recommend replace hardware with Toyota brand really stops the break chatter i was getting. Not much to show here.
