Back in 95 I drove past a house with a For Sale sign on a 62 Impala Bubbletop. I turned around and went back and found out it was a dual carb 409 car and he wanted $10,000. This was in Pana, Illinois, if I recall the town correctly. It was red with red steel wheels and hubcaps. I called my dad (the guy with the money) and he said he wasn't interested in it. He already had a 62 409 but it wasn't a Bubbletop. I'll never forget that car.

I absolutely love this car. You can drive it around town, it's got enough power and handling to have fun with. It can win trophies at a car show. You couldn't ask for a cleaner engine compartment. And the gauges....they look stock but you can tell that they are a modern reinvention of the analog gauges. This is a rolling work of art.

This car is beautiful. The understated details, the stock looking but superb interior and to top it all off the third pedal. Just enough horsepower to be fast but not un drivable on the street like 1500 HP blower sticking through the hood cars. The bubble top, hardtop is the icing on the cake. Love this car.
