Great vid guys, i have a 2013 ZL1 and love this car! A little bit of clacking from the isolator spring it seems, i bought this car last year with 24 k miles on it, it now has 28 k + right now. I just found out about the isolator issue from youtube. I didn’t know about this issue. It gets louder as it gets warm, but not bad . contacted my nearest chevy dealer through email and got no response, I’m pretty sure they don’t want to warranty the ten year warranty from chevy due to this issue. i have as well as a very good extended warranty good for many more years from now which covers this. What would you recommend for my next step? I am a mechanic anyway and could do this myself. All the vids i saw show how to do this with the supercharger already removed, can this be done in the garage without taking off the supercharger or hood ect?

Did you have to Replace the bearings as well or did all the noise go away with cleaning it and the solid isolator replacement?

What did you use to clean out the space where the solid isolator will go? You said carb cleaner for the snout side, what about for the supercharger side?

whats the go with supercharger oil on a brand new unit? does it have any in the snout orbis that just a l67 thing?

How do you safely remove the "dowel"?

What are the torque specs for the 4 bolts holding the snout to the blower?

bonecrrusherSS I know your comment is 1 year old but just in case, all 6 are torqued to 20 ft pound. Not just the small 4 but also the 2 long ones as well.

@@pat30185 Ended up giving it some whacks with a rubber mallet and it came off ofter that. Damn rtv or whatever they had was solid. Thanks!
