I actually just took a break from my studying just to watch this. It made me feel like I am not alone in this. I took the LSAT this June but I am preparing for a second time to take it in September/October. I wish everyone luck in the process!

You are definitely not alone! LSAT studying is hard and requires a lot of patience. Kudos to you for studying and retaking again! Best of luck.

Prior to studying for the LSAT, I thought I could study 6-8 hours a day. When I started studying, I realized how unrealistic that goal was. Thanks for this video!

Yeah I didn’t realize how hard it is to focus for so long! Good luck (:

I just wanted to say thank you for sharing this video! I feel the exact same way about the LSAT as you do and this whole journey. I don't want to punish myself for taking breaks or not studying for 5+hours in a day because that's just not the way my brain works. I'm embracing that and in a weird way this whole journey has taught me to have more patience for myself!

I'm glad you're figuring it out! It's better to be consistent than to study a lot at once and feel burnt out. Good luck

Thank you for sharing a realistic week of studying!!! I’m also studying for the LSAT and it can sometimes be discouraging when some days are way more productive than others. Consistency is key, though. Good luck!

I can totally relate. We have similar methods of study. Do you find that you have better results in the library as compared to other places like Starbucks? I do better at the library, in fact, I am planning on taking the aug lsat in one of the private study rooms. Great video! Thanks for the realism and best of luck on your continued studies - we got this!!!

Good luck on your August LSAT! I like studying at the library because it’s usually quieter but Starbucks is nice for getting a drink/snack while studying. Hope your studying goes well!

How many times can you take the LSAT in a year or in total? Also is 7sage free?
@maharuqs2 жыл бұрын
Check out this website for information about taking the LSAT: www.lsac.org/lsat/retaking-the-lsat. LSAT studying through 7Sage is not free, but I think it’s worth the investment in your score. You can see their prices here: 7sage.com/pricing/

I worked full time when studying for the LSAT. Not a brag, jist my experience. What I did was take a timed section each day, in the evenning after work. Yes I was tired, but I forced myself to do it. I didn't gravies the section until the next day during my breaks and over lunch. I took a timed test, back then it was 5 sections for the test, so that's what I took. Ended up completing about 45 tests over 4.5 month period of time. I think we each need our own way of approaching this rest but in my experience, 4-5 hours a day 7 days a week is very much unnecessary. Granted, of I needed to work more on the games my approach would have been different. I figured then out early on and by week 3 or 4 I was scoring. -0 maybe missing 1 question every 5 or 6 games sections. I have a math and engineering background so that was probably why. Keep at it, probably don't make the practice itself into this big grandiose thing. Going out of your way to study in the library sounds time consuming. But again, we each have our own way of approaching I suppose. Good luck!

What LSAT prep materials do you recommend using? I am trying to study but do not know where to begin.

I'm using 7Sage (for Logical Reasoning and Logic Games), The LSAT Trainer (for Reading Comprehension), and the PowerScore online forum (to check answers). Hope that helps!

How did you make the excel sheet for study hours? Love seeing this..I haven’t seen a video like this at all they are so motivating especially I Since I’m also studying…
@maharuqs2 жыл бұрын
Hi! I basically input times into excel using the following format 00:00:00 (hours:minutes:seconds) and I use the SUM feature to get a total of the cells with those times. Hope that helps! (:
