That was the first sled i had as a kid.1979 think it was like $500 new. Never forget it though it was so reliable and very light when u got stuck not the best in deep snow.First one i have seen with a long track sure that helped with the deep stuff...

thats gonna look good saw your work before ,, i remember my enticer the good and the bad with it ,, my belly pan was all dinged up ,, and doesnt give you much access to pound it out in the air foil , cant wait to see this one done if you elect to go with that hood you got a nice windshield , also remember the shock wasnt nice to get back in , i compressed it with a farm jack measuring eyelit to eyelit, then running coat hanger over and under the shock and working in back in,

Hey man your videos and “tutorials” (builds) are highly addictive and appreciated !! I just picked up a 1986 Phazer plan on doing a intro soon and a total rebuild/mod (resto-mod) this summer it’ll be for trails but would love some feedback as I’ll be putting “mountain mod” parts to it long track, powder skies etc... anyway thanks a lot for your vids and keep them coming!! Very encouraging!!

What are you going to do with the 340 engine? I just picked up an '83 enticer and it had been sitting for a long time just got it running and the bearings are very loud, probably from moisture. I've been looking for a good 340 engine.

When you took off with it to the shop, it was very smoky and sounded like there was some resistance on it...My 94' Mach 1 670 does that too...is that because of a bad belt? i know i need to change it but im hoping doing so i will get a bit more pop out of it and wont have that smoke and resistance..

Its an old 2 stroke engine that's why it smoked and as tisim3 said it was cold. The resistance is because it was on gravel lol.

Half the belt is wearing on it does that mean any thing?
@Turrnaroud
@Turrnaroud 11 жыл бұрын
yes, the clutch has to engage then you have to get onto the throttle even more to make the clutch to squeeze together to grab the belt, but if you had a new belt, you woulden't have to give it more throttle it would pick up as soon as the clutch engages

I hate the carberator placement on a Enticer 250 you have to take off the belt to take of the carb because you have to take off the whole mainifould the throttle stuff is in the way I really feel they could of made a better design but only have to do it once a year I use it in a race sled so there's not any problems with fuel

Can anyone help with my problem. I have a 2004 polaris vertical edge 600 and ive been having problems with the coolant. Whenever it isnt running the coolant disappears from the reservoir and when I start it, it has a distinct smell of burning antifreeze. Ive pressurized the system to 15lbs and theres no leaks. I changed all my gaskets and seals and the problem still occurs. Theres no cracks in the walls. So what could be the problem?
@DemetryRomanowski
@DemetryRomanowski 11 жыл бұрын
Check for cracks in the hoses, or crack in the head, if the head is cracked where your coolant flows then you will get your coolant in the combustion chamber.
