LSOP in Action: Oglala Lakota College Workshop 2024

In July 2024, the LSOP of crew presented a teacher workshop at Oglala Lakota College on the Pine Ridge Reservation. LSOP staff and interns worked with approximately 15 teachers on hands-on actives related to electricity. LSOP has conducted programming for Oglala Lakota Nation students and teachers regularly since 2008. This trip and the rest of our Indigenous Connections are made possible by a generous grant from the Halliburton Foundation.
