This was like a big happy family reunion right here. LSU and the Human Jukebox came together like a big ole pot of gumbo with so much flavor. Both bands made the state proud with this performance.

If you want to see more of this every year just to see the bands, then pay to go see the bands at the battle of the bands in the Superdome GSU vs SU. Because SU needs to make some more money if they are just going to be entertainment to fill a Non-Conference slot for LSU that garnered this much attention.

No, SU needs to learn to ask for more money to be the entertainment draw for halftime. SU was the biggest in-state Non-Conference draw that LSU has brought to Tiger Stadium since 2001. Learn how to negotiate better SU, if you're going to play these " get your but whipped" games. LA Tech got $1.15M in 2018, UL Monroe $1.4 M. In 2021. ..none of those schools could generate the kind of excitement of SU ( and the Human Jukebox). Troy State in 2017 beat LSU & received $985,000. McNeese game was cancelled after playing a few minutes in 2015 due to weather...heck McNeese was still paid $500,000. You still being used Black Folks learn how to Negotiate better. They want you for that Non-Conference game.

If SU is going to be the entertainment for LSU to fill one of their Non-Conference slots, SU needs to learn better negotiating skills. Otherwise, LSU is taking advantage of you on the field & in the money category off the field. LSU paid Troy St $985,000 in 2017. Ironically, Troy State won that year. LSU paid McNeese in 2015 $500,000 for a game that wasn't completed because of the weather. LSU paid LA Tech $1.15M in 2018. ULMonroe in 2021 $1.4 M. None of the above In State or Out of State schools brought the attention that SU & the Human Jukebox did for a Non-Conference game to Tiger Stadium. When will Black Folks learn that if you're going to play these Big Schools to get "whipped" on the field at least get a Very, Very Good payout ! Allegedly, SU got $700,000. & change. McNeese, LaTech, ULMonroe, not even (a Troy State , who unexpectedly beat LSU that year) garnered the attention that this game did. SU was a better draw for LSU's Non-Conference game . Black folks need to learn this is not about no coming together. This was still about money & who can best fill the stadium for a Non-Conference game. SU & ( GSU scheduled for 2022) had not played LSU...most of the other Louisiana HWI ( historically white institutions) have. We knew who was expected to WIN this game, but do you really think anybody went to the LSU/McNeese or LSU/ULMONROE game to hear the band? Wake up Black Folks...It's still all about the Money.. You better learn how to Negotiate a little better because LSU wants you for this Non-Conference game over a McNeese or a Troy State & not for some brotherly cross town Love. You can Love it ALL you want but for SU, if you're going to continue to play LSU it should be about the money...because LSU has been getting the "Brothers " since integration. That goes for you too, GSU (2023). It looks like LaTech & ULM understood the Money part.
