@ I respectfully disagree! LSU has all the talent in the world….they just have the wrong coach. Kelly is from Massachusetts and coached in the mid-west (Cincinnati and Notre Dame) before acquiring the LSU job (whose team is composed mostly of Southern Athletes). He cannot relate to Southern African-American men. He is not a leader of men…..and does not command the respect of his team, because he’s always blaming his players (at post game press conferences and other venues) for the teams loses. At Note Dame, with a predominantly white team , due to the high admission standards, he did the best he could with the talent he had. However, LSU is team with talented young African-American men who do not see Kelly as a father figure….but rather a “slave master”. And every time they lose, and Kelly goes on one of his “verbal tirades”, the “football slaves” ( the African-American Southern Athletes) see this as a “verbal lashing”. Again, LSU has the talent and the QB (who is coming back for the 2025 season) to compete and beat any power 4 or power 5 team. However, they have the wrong coach. Coach Kelly reminds me of a person who can only drive an automatic Ford…..but in LSU, he has a stick shift Ferrari……but he doesn’t know how to drive it!
