@ this was his first year as a starter in the SEC with a lackluster running game and developing defense. LSU would be way worse without him. I agree he has some improving to do. Most quarterbacks have a breakout year their second season as a starter. His numbers this year are incredible. He just needs to take better care of the football.

Tough Season- losing underwood is a blessing in disguise- LSU can bring in some better talent & Nuss had better think hard about returning for another year he def needs it & so does LSU as a program... hope Colin Hurley can step in after Nuss... he will have a better year if he returns for another run at a championship... also a few players that underperformed need to move on like hilton & hopefully Perkins will play after healing for a final season before entering the NFL Draft. We will see how this all plays out however it is imperative that in 2025 certain goals are REACHED: 1. MUST WIN 1st GAME of the SEASON 2. CANNOT take a LOSS until after 8 WINS 3. MUST have a MAX 1 LOSS season 4. Must be competing IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME... Lofty goals I know but failing there benchmarks is a real problem after 4 years of building a program at LSU = results must happen at some juncture & 2025 is NOW!

But, with the way this season has been and as chaotic as it has been, there is no way any team, in the SEC , or nationwide, can make it thru the season with only 1 loss in CFB now.
