Long time friend, loyal client & OG pro skater Eric Conner brings his infamous Tundra Prerunner back to the studio for crucial performance upgrades. Once completed we took the truck to Barstow for a shakedown and baseline tune with Keith to see where the truck was at & get it on the path to being dialed in.

Mcd1 is setting the bar! Morgan, I think you should make episode of rear end back half 101. Link separation, pre runner anti-squat value. Shock separation, sway bar placement, etc for guys like me that are building a pre-runner and need the technical help and guild lines!

it's probably been done but you could fab little compartments where you could bolt down some lead or tungsten blocks to add weight. Keep mid cell. keep trunk. keep balance. 15 years ago a friend of mine made 40lb bags of steel shot sealed in bags with handles for weight balance and bigger wakes while wakeboarding. minimal space for maximum weight. adding unsprung weight seems crazy but so does doing 100 through 3 foot whoops.

Your totally right! It doesn’t seem “conventional” but weight ballast can make a huge difference & it’s exactly what we did with this one. Unfortunately we don’t have footage of the second test session when she went back out. Night and day difference. The next episode with her at Glamis / Imperial Sand Dunes will show the incredible difference in handling.

Please explain ADS over King/Fox etc. Does it not matter once you tune the shocks?

How different are those ADS from something like a King or Fox? Are they all basically the same once they’re tuned for the truck? Killer vid as always guys!

They are very similar to a King shock. Yes the valving is the variable! Thanks!

In the clip at the end where it’s running through the woops it still looks like it’s bucking. Then showing the gray truck run, night and day difference. Smooth, no buck. Please get the owner to move the fuel tank.

Your totally right! Hence the title of the episode! Lol! The gray truck is the same truck. We made some functional revisions after this test session, brought her back out to Barstow to fine tune, THEN got out to Glamis for some heavy fun runs! She’s a whole new animal! Handling is almost perfect now! Wait till you see the Glamis episode!!
