you paid 26k for a 97 taco.? in 1997 i bought a 97 taco, new , first new truck paid $23k have a mid travel 97 now, bought it with 67k on the dash in near mint cond bone stock $11k + $5k suspension, 2$k tires/wheels $3k supercharger 2k body im a welder, so no $$$ for cage, for a total of under 23k$ you paid to much for your toyota.

Agreed. It's a reliable motor, but for the time and money spent he could've gotten much more power from another platform. 2J, RB, LS...etc
