I've run both, LT2 is hands down the best bang for the buck. The difference between the two for me the LT2 was a nice improvement over the LT1 intake. I maintained my low end torque and gained some rpm up high. The MSD gave up some low end torque but is insane after 5K RPM. This intake really shines when you do long tubes.
@BLUPRINT1LE8 ай бұрын
With my MSD, I don’t believe I loss any low end torque but that could be due to the nature of my cam. But either way you go you can’t go wrong FBO. If you know you’re wanting more power it’s better to get the MSD to begin with.

@@BLUPRINT1LE Yeah that was with me still running a stock cam. Next move is Cam and heads.

buy once cry once, i went msd from the start knowing i would ho head cam eventually.. just got a set of weld ventura s151s in all black. next plan is to start the build on a shortblock to eventually go procharged. love the car bro
@BLUPRINT1LE8 ай бұрын
Exactly bro! Me and you have the same build in mind. Im thinking about going Procharged down the road.

I like that you have owned both and can break it down. One is a better value and the other is a better product overall

cammed SS3 lt2 if on a budget MSD if you want a couple more ponies. LT2 all day save the money and get some headers or another mod. GPI did a video on this topic
@BLUPRINT1LE8 ай бұрын
Yeahh that’s true but you can’t be on a budget and be fast. Because if you get beat by a MSD car you gonna be having regrets about not having a MSD. But it also depends on how you using the car as well

i have a c7 and i dont think that this intake fits. its such a great upgrade too!

The LT2 won’t fit but the MSD will definitely will

@@BLUPRINT1LE Interesting. I have the same cf hood and JLT intake. My car starts to jerk at high speed because of turbulence thru the vent going in the intake and messing the MAF readings

unless you are doing more than just an intake manifold, don't even bother. both are a waste of money.
