Per MT H2H The '16 Camaro SS did very well against that year BMW M4. And R&T tested the 6th gen SS1LE VS BMW M2 Competition. Again the Camaro did great. MT tested the Corvette C7 Grand Sport against that year Porsche Carrera S, and they preferred the GS.

MT mentioned that if Porsche were going to design a Mustang it would be the Shelby GT350R

Good video and great comparison. The red (LT2) is basically my soon to be set up except I have a ported 87mm throttle body and full catback. You gave me a pretty close idea of what to expect. I’m not doing forced induction or cams and heads so the ported LT2 was the way to go for me. These wheel horse and torque results makes me even more sold on the LT2. Hopefully I’ll make a bit more power than the red (LT2) camaro since I’m in a manual. Also, I think X pipes might make a little more power than H pipes, so the red LT 2 camaro might have done even better with an X pipe.

That shift knob is heavy af. They can make a huge difference in shifting enjoyment. I never even thought the Camaro needed one

She’s coming along great. Looking to get an SS real soon. Just wanted to say I don’t know how much you’ve looked into it but the Corsa Axel back for NPP is a great add as well. It’s a much deeper sound but you get to keep the valves. It’s pricey but I might be worth. There’s a good video on KZbin to hear it.

How much power are you making? I own an 04 Jaguar XJR w/ intake + exhaust, I was driving in the rain and spun going 50...just stayed in it and corrected but it kinda freaked me out, the long wheelbase does help when things get squirrely

I’m about to make the jump and get a set of headers soon. This was a great video and came in clutch for me. I have a 2017 2SS with a few bolt ons already. I’ve got a RotoFab CAI, a ported throttle body coupled with a Silver Bullet spacer, and an MBRP catback exhaust. Can’t wait to see what adding headers to this set up is gonna be like.

For 17k you could’ve have vengeance racing build it, they did my buddies Chevy ss, all for 17k they put a 2.7l whipple on it, their custom grind cam,kools headers, bigger throttle body and a carbon fiber cold air intake headerscar made 839rwhp on e85
