Its a lovely kit, I am building one at the moment. You will need the instructions to build this but the instructions with the kit are in german! Don't panic I downloaded the English manual from aero-naut .de/en/downloads/instructions

@@ianwilson5015 Work in progess Ian. It is a nice kit and is sweet to build. The manual is good but it is in German,so if you don't speak the language download an english version from aero-naut.de/downloads/instructions. If you intend to build and fly the basic two channel glider it is faultless! I'm building the five channel variant - rudder,elevator, aileron, airbrake and electric motor and this taking some working out (the avioncs/radio install is a tight fit). Not rushing this but looking to maiden her next month. A very nice Christmas present, I've got some short aeromodeling videos on my youtube channel (Phil Okeefe) so could post one one there for you or Whatsapp [phone]

@@philokeefe7960 Thanks, yes I had tracked down an English manual on the net but not much else in English relating to this model. I would enjoy seeing the videos, KZbin or WhatsApp [phone] if you’d be kind enough to share. I also intend doing the full works with the radio channels. I note the manufacturer’s recommendation to use white wood glue generally, and I agree the logic for some parts, but may well try cyano for the wing rib/spar joints as I’ve not tried this before and it should be much quicker. Will you be putting a covering on yours? I’ve bought some tissue but am still considering iron-on film.

@@ianwilson5015 OK, the full works is a lot more build time and I am finding some minor flaws in the German build design which I am correcting. I am following the build plan to the letter to see if it can be improved. So: I used PVA throughout, you're right I think cyano would be much better Covering. I experimented with tissue on this project but decided that on this airframe it was not needed (too time consuming and not required for strength - not to mention the smell). The iron on film will give the model a lovely finish but unless you have experiance of applying it think carefully, there are all those control surfaces to cover! At present my plan is to clear wood seal then acyilc primer (already done on the wing panels) followed by acrylc gloss. I have used all manner of coverings during my aeromodelling years (40) but never tried paint!
