Update! My LT230 from Ashcroft is a fabulous unit. quiet, no leaks, shifts in and out of high low lock or unlock, very smooth. quite pleased, and I ordered it with the stainless steel insert and an Ashcroft ATB center diff inside as well. Shipped to me in the United States, very promptly! I am totally satisfied, emailed with Mr. Ashcroft personally to sort out my swapping of the Borg Warner viscous unit, for this LT230. He sold me exactly the right model number to match the T-case to my application. No extra unattached bits, looks like my 94 LWB came with it from the factory! It is very quiet. I think I can detect something if I try hard at 60+MPH. But seriously I don't notice at all. I know the quality is very high, I can feel it..They are rock solid!

emm..unprotected spinning shaft.... h&s will be round if they watch this video lol although i bet if it was used for 100 years nothing would go wrong we had lathes like that in school metalwork when i was in my teens, no one ever died, now kids cant even use glue guns in case they get a burn......... great idea for a quick spin up test, like it.
