On todays video we have the opportunity to compare a Big Cam to a Small Cam in two virtually Identically modded 6th gen Camaro 1LE's both on 93 octane and E85. Will the Big cam come out on top or will the Small cam pull off the upset and beat out the Big boy? You'll just have to watch and see!

Small cam car needs an MSD or ported LT2 intake. But for a relatively Street friendly build it’s got excellent numbers.

Incorrect info. 2019 was the first year you could get the 10speed for the standard SS. 2021 is the first year you can get the 10 speed for the SS 1LE. That was manual only through 2020.

They are often I remember a episode. Big cam vs small cam they was so wrong an had to bash vengeance racing in the process to make the video . It was a vengeance max effort cam. But they forget that was when cam only cars was running 9.7s . It was called cam only for a reason that's how I started at vengeance racing. So all I know is any Ls Lt car love a big cam an a 36 to 4000 stall . An that's a fact.

@@houstonmade8327 you could get the 10 speed in fall of 2018 but it wasn’t for the 2018 Camaro. it was the 2019 Camaro that was made available for sale in 2018. 2016-2018 autos are all 8 speeds

Only camaro that had the a10 before 2019 was a zl1 other than that it was the ss. the 1le got the auto in 2020

Now the Chevy crew just needs to use a self tuning device like ford has coming. It automatically adjusts for outside temps, humidity, elevation, pressure and fuel octane and e content all by itself. There’s even a company that has been doing self tuning devices for over 14 yrs now, at Vivid Racing in AZ.

Car was having valvetrain issues with the big cam up top. Small cam did well. There would be virtually no difference in acceleration between those cars.

He guys new sub here. Im in Ontario Canada and a buddy of mine is buying a 2021 1le 10 speed. He wants heads and cam done right away. The really good ls shop close to us quoted 17k. I thought no way. They said its new and they are working on the tunes and stuff on their 2019 shop car. Does this sound right? Thanks.

They both made the same tq and only a 18 hp dif. it would be a drivers race or a 130 lb driver vs 210 lb and 6 gal of fuel vs 14.

@@ss2cold247 peep the video description for the 6th gen Camaros. I put some recommendations in there. CSP 2in Headers or Kooks 2in headers mated to the factory dual mode is a great option. Loud/quiet when you want it lol

Direct injection uses a "low pressure" pump in the fuel tank and a "high pressure" pump on the engine that is driven by the camshaft.

It takes time to save up some money and then decide and pull the trigger on getting a cam done. But you no what pisses me off when the shop’s personnel act like it’s just another car on the conveyor belt. Your in the wrong business if you look bored and not excited about performance cars. A sign of a good shop is organization and a clean shop. Mind you there always seems to be a lot of nice cars there getting work done.

I disagree, I had a cam installed in my c6 grandsport, and the shop i chose to do the work had an incredibly clean neat organized shop with alot of high performance cars worth more than mine. The mechanic work was fine. The tune was absolute garbage tho. I couldn't stand driving my car.

I had them tune my c7 when I was NA and even though I didn't have any work done by them, they still treated me like a was more than a customer. Got an amazing tour of both shops and Andrew and Alex took their time answering all the dumb questions. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. There's a reason why they're well respected and always booked out weeks if not months in advance.
