I don't believe you fall in love in that short of time - you might have that strong attraction but saying I love you right off the bat - I don't normally buy it so I think Matt really has a grounded believable attitude. I think Rudi’s performance of Shallow was spectacular! The best thing for Rudi is to be a free agent. In my opinion, Rudi is insanely talented, and she stole the entire show! I think being tied down will only hold Rudi back from so many wonderful opportunities.

Musically I love Rudi and Matt but I don’t see genuine feelings coming from Matt towards Rudi. In fact he’s body language (on TV) is telling me that either he just got out of a serious relationship with someone older or he still has a girl back home. Matt is not into Rudi romantically. You know it when it is a potential but when you "just can't get there" you never really will. Head over heels doesn't happen later. He is attracted to her musically but she is in the friend zone for sure. It seemed to decline after they consummated the friendship. I mean he did not even want to go to the fantasy suite???... He was like "do me once shame on u, do me twice shame on me" That date with Mel? He wasn't into her but how would she know that by the way he was complimenting her. ? I think Matt was looking for the music deal all along. But I also think that he is a great guy and really did not set out to hurt anyone. He thought it was fool proof. Bottom line is that they should have stayed and would have won. They may not have been in love like Chris and Bri, but Chris can 't sing. Same/ same to me.
