Very cool. It's fun building engines like this when your not under a time crunch. Good job.

I will probably never do a engine rebuild, but I find it nice to see how it is done, a little different than SBC's! Great Video, and Informative!

Great video Man What parts would I need to do a engine rebuild in 05 ltz400
@PatrickRiggs33 Жыл бұрын
Thank you! That would depend entirely on whats wrong with the engine at hand. You won't know until its torn down. At bare minimum atleast all new bearings, crank, piston, cylinder, valves, seats, springs, seals, etc...

Hello, I also chose an LTZ engine, I changed the crankshaft and it fell off with a lump, maybe you can tell me where it was

What loctites did you need for the whole engine? The manual is only referring to suzuki specific threadlocks.
@PatrickRiggs33 Жыл бұрын
Red. Just a little dab.

I had a question what side did you split the crank case left or right side facing up I’ve see in the manual say right side facing up ?
@PatrickRiggs33 Жыл бұрын
It really doesn't matter.

What would cause a ltz to be stuck in reverse
@PatrickRiggs33 Жыл бұрын
Stuck in reverse as in you literally aren't able to click the shifter back up into first gear? Check the reverse cable and plunger down on the case make sure it's operating correctly in/out. If it's not that I'd hate to say but probably a broken/bent shift fork or shift drum. Cases would need to be split.
