This is the last episode in a 8 part series on me fixing my buddies 2005 ltz400. If you have one of these quads this series will be very informational. This is a complete walkthrough on changing the oil in these quads. Also if you have a 2005-2007 Arctic cat dvx400 or a Kawasaki 2003-2006 kfx400 all this information will pertain to your model of atv. Check playlist for all videos.

I live in Utah and I love going riding every weekend. I have a 2003 Suzuki quadsport Z400 and that is one of the best quads I’ve owned. I really hope that you can achieve your dreams. Having an excellent mechanic such as yourself would put more off road and on road vehicles out there to be used and have fun for many years. I love watching your videos.

Pro tip: If you don't have one of those spouts or a correct sized funnel, you can just fold a piece of printer paper into the shape of a funnel and that works pretty good. It doesn't seep through the paper and it's just long enough so the bottle of oil isn't in an awkward position.

Due to the 2 bolts on the back the swingarm I think this is a 2003 ltz400 that's the only year they made it with those

I'm about to change the oil on my 09 LTZ 400 for the 1st time. I have the oil and the filter, but I don't have new O rings for the filter. How nessacary is it to change those ? Do we only need to change them if they're worn ? Or should we change them every time ?

Man I need to ask a question I have an LTZ 400 quads for Suzuki it's a 2003 and I broke the spark plug off in the head but I took any Audi and I got the spark plug out but I think I went down too far and I tapped the top of the the piston and now when I try to push start it it just goes clock clock in the motor now what does

What oil you recommend for ltz400 in florida weather? Also i just bought it and previous owner had it sit for a while. so when i ride and slow down, it has a misfire popping sound coming from the exhaust. Any help what could be?

I have oil coming out go the oil tank after I rode my 03 KFX 400? It run fine but oil leaks out of the tank when I checked it . what can it be?

Hi there I’m hoping you can help me, I have a 2004 ltz400 I changed one of the turn signals because the bulb was dim now all 4 turn signals don’t work at all any ideas? Is there a fuse that could have blew? Thanks

Yep I recommend even a new coil and wire for the ltz400 if you had it for some time on spark plug change.

What weight do you recommend for the blazing heat in Florida ?

I think you will be ok just switching to a synthetic oil at the oem weight. It's not like the desert in Arizona. Florida is very humid. Just make sure you give the dirt oil a shot over amsoil atv/utv oil different mix. I recommend the dirt oil for all sport quads. And if you order online use my dealer number 5541460 and get a can of mudslinger to keep your quad clean. Also try some quickshot to keep that carb running smooth
