Because they both love the spotlight, that's what make this dance see beautiful. They both shine in it. They were both independent, and both vulnerable. Magic. Such a perfect match.

I never understood how the judges saw cocky and arrogant. Danny was an amazing dancer, and I always thought that he was so shy and withdrawn, but when he danced, he was MAGNIFICIENT. In all my years of watching, I always thought he was the absolute best and his technique was flawless. I could never take my eyes off of him. If he seemed confident when he danced, I suspect that's where he felt most comfortable, more like who he was. Aside from dancing, shy and sweet. Shame on the judges for ripping him apart each week. Yeah, clearly they were routing for a female because two men had one the first two years. I loved Sabra, but Danny...yeah, he was amazing.

Danny was far and away the best dancer to ever hit the stage in the 11 seasons of SYTYCD. This routine is amazing and yet the judges slammed it. All of them. I couldn't believe it when I heard how they criticized Danny. IMO this is one of the top five contemporary routines in the history of the show.

@mmbopist9 жыл бұрын
Jessica Hightower If you're talking about this dance, I think you're missing the point of it. He's playing someone who's angry at his partner. In general, he had no problems connecting with Lacey, or Lauren, or with Anya in several of their other dances (jive, foxtrot). Actually, the only partner I felt like he didn't connect with was Sabra.
@jennylake86038 жыл бұрын
You do realize this dance is about a guy who is angry at his girlfriend. Don't you? BTW, I met Danny when the group was on tour. He was very shy, very gracious and very sweet. (And not nearly as tall as I thought he would be).
@yassinawad30127 жыл бұрын
Gwenhamara i completely agree with you for me this routine from my favorite and might be from the best contemporary dance i have ever seen in the show by the way i don't like contemporary dance because it is boring for me but i like this because there was creativity in this routine and incredible dance Danny has phenomenal athleticism i have never seen outstanding dancer like him in so you think you can dance across all the seasons

Danny Tidwell is one of, if not THE, most beautiful dancers I have ever seen on SYTYCD. EVER. His lines were extraordinary and breath-taking. There was no way in hell that he should have lost to Sabra, but that was Nigel's bloody fault for so blatantly proclaiming just before the final vote that he wanted to see a female win and you knew who he meant. The whole stinking judging panel was at fault because of THEIR lousy attitudes directed at Danny and it was also the viewing audience's fault for falling for their garbage. In short, Danny was majorly screwed.
@jennylake86038 жыл бұрын
Danny was THE best to ever be on SYTYCD. I love Benji, Mark and Travis but Danny was in a class by himself. It's a damned shame the way the judges treated him.

I completely agree with you. Danny is one of the most beautiful dancers I've ever watched. No matter who his partner was, I could never take my eyes off him. The judges pissed me off so much because they tried their best to put him down and turn the viewers against him by saying he was arrogant. It was obviously set up for Sabra to win. If it had been based on talent, nobody could touch Danny.
@yassinawad30127 жыл бұрын

I know its your own opinion.but danny is no where near cocky. Have u watched the latest travis wall piece which was danced by tucker n robert? It kinda represented danny being afraid to come out from his introvert shell because of his past though he was inspired by Travis's sytycd journey. Him being really inspired showed that he is one humble being. he was actually just shy. To me, cocky guys will never constantly look out for their partner n will try to out dance them (like Blake) unlike danny

Idk what it is, but the latest seasons of SYTYCD are missing a touch of what these two had.
