I live in Lubbock and you said that Lake Alan Henry is 10 miles from Lubbock. It's 66.9 miles from Lubbock. Now good old Buffalo Lake might have been what you were referring to.

Lubbock seems interesting, but holy shit all that sun and blue skies. Maybe it's just because I'm used to the constant grey skies and clouds of the PNW but the sun over in west texas almost looks oppressive. It's great to see that the people are friendly though.

I want to go to Texas because of all the nude public beaches, seems to have a lot of clothing optional Resorts as well. I haven't looked into Lubbock specifically though.

Thinking about moving here from central Pennsylvania, I’m a server/bartender how is the bar/restaurant scene? Is there any parts of Lubbock that aren’t the safest to live? The place I live now has some shootings/ stabbings etc would like to avoid that.

As experience from living in Lubbock, Texas through whole childhood, we were very poor and the houses were just keep on getting expensive and expensive and the school systems were not great either. It’s really not that great in person.

@LubbockLiving Жыл бұрын
It sure does sometimes! The wind usually makes it quite cold in the winter 😁
