Hello. Witam. We are retired Americans. We were in Europe last year from August to March this year: 5 months helping a new school open in L'viv, six weeks in Krakow learning about WWII, and a month in Tallinn. We visited Gdansk and Warsaw. Our friends have relatives in Poland, as well. We loved our time in Poland. Great trains, easy access to Europe, and very friendly people in each of the cities we were in. Lublin looks amazing! Lublin and especially Poland is a beautiful, safe and friendly place. I would like to invite you to Lublin, you will see the best preserved old city in Poland (it was partially destroyed during World War II). I have lived in Lublin since I was born, for me it is a quiet and peaceful city, better than Warsaw. Warm greetings.
