Oh absolutely not, not to yuck your yum but Luca is so gorgeous and has such love put into the animation. It would be criminal for the animation to turn cheaper and lose its charm, plus the story is meant to be simple, putting it in a series could destroy that concept.

I would love to see a sequal of this beautiful movie. In my opinion, the best continuation would be starting in Janov featuring the school and overall life there, but then it will come back to the underwater world. I like seeing the boys in the original form more than in their humans and especially Pixar's work on different worlds is probably the best one. They should also stay roughly the same age. Hope to see new updates soon!
