Shortest landing distance means you need to put the auto brakes to max. It should deploy the speed brakes as soon as you touch down but just the spool time and the increased approach speed due to the decreased lift from the spoilers mean that you have a lot more energy. You're dissipating more energy but you have to either use your engines which take time to spool or steeper angle. Put the flops to full, and approach as slow as you can from only one or two degree angle and then start ramping up your engines right before you touch down, maybe one second before, and then deploy full reverse thrusters as soon as you make contact with the ground. There's a trick to it. All of these are dangerous in real life but In theory give you a shorter landing role

with speedbrakes/spoilers during approach you reduce lift, so at critical angle of attack the aircraft actually needs more speed to be able to keep flying or else it just loses lift and falls out of the sky. that is why you stalled so much at relatively high speeds. So bottom line, the slowest approach speed is achieved with full flaps but no spoilers.
