The thing about Celeste is that she was perfectly okay with dying by Fire. She loved to be Unique and being burnt alive is such a unique way to die. Unfortunately Monakuma being the sickening bastard he is, drove the firetruck right into her. Which is why Celeste eyes shook a little in surprise because she was scared. Dying by vehicular accident is one of if not the most common ways to die therefore her death wasn't unique for her at all.

If you dont get Celeste's death let me explain it with the knowledge i have. One of Celestes fears is not to be unique. Burning alive is one of the most unique deaths and thats why shes smiling. But then she gets hit by a truck being one of the most common deaths. Monokuma did that to make Celeste feel despair one last time before her death. And the bunny on top of the castle is the bunny Celeste would hold in her beta version. Hope i could explain good!

Honestly he’s kinda bad at lying compared to Celeste. It’s difficult to deceive anyone when you’re ending every other sentence with “THAT WAS A LIE”. Celeste takes her time to build up at least trust with everyone instead. While she’s not exactly seen as the nicest or even the least murdery when her scheme kicks off, she at least plays the role of “no less suspicious than anyone else’s involved” very well. I still appreciate Kokichi though, mostly because I have a soft spot for chaotic gremlin characters

I think that was the point in some cases! In the other games (won't spoil) there are a few death scenes that are too dark for just plain old red blood to be properly seen. Pink does a great job to highlight the horror of a death with blood everywhere.

*THIS COMMENT CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR DR1* 18:02 See, my pet theory about Hina and Hifumi is that, although they didn't get along at first in the original school life, they eventually became friends over those two lost years. This would explain the seemingly inexplicable affection she had for him, as well as Hina's... unexpected reaction when Toko started openly sexually fantasizing at the beginning of Ch. 4 (maybe Hina secretly got into Hifumi's hobby a bit?) If it's true, it really rounds out her character IMO. edit: Come to think of it, Hifumi did say something about his hobby getting in the way of his relating to girls, right? If I'm right, that adds another element of tragedy to the whole thing.

14:28 - I know what she was talking about. I read this story from my English book in elementary. A boy was walking through the forest with new clothes and an umbrella that all differ in color. Then, at different times, a tiger would come near him to try and eat him. To avoid getting eaten, he'd give one of his clothes and even gave his umbrella to make the tiger feel full of himself. Next, all the tigers met at the base of a tree to try and eat the boy. The boy then climbed up the tree. The tigers then looked at each other and argued for who was best-looking. They fought and let go of the clothes. The boy secretly climbed down, took the clothes, and left. The tigers got a hold of each other's tail, forming a ring around the tree, and started running around in a circle. They didn't let go of each other's tail and kept running and running and running until they melted into butter. The boy's mom saw the butter, scooped it up, and used it for pancakes.
