Aww, you didn't get into the weird steering mechanics of Extreme Speed. I'd also highly recommend a video going into the finer detials of Aura mechanics. Meshima's tweet and short/incomplete analysis has a lot of traction around the Smash community, and I'd hate to see the wrong data get out.

I may be kind of late but Lucario is all about conditioning your opponent to shield. Whether with his low ground fair's and nair's or absolutely with his aura sphere. Once you got them shielding, it is easy getting his kill confirms with a grab or his force palm grab. Once you have them conditioned to avoid grabs, the aura spheres make a great chase tool.

One of the best parts of Force Palm Grab is the short hit-lag and zoom effect at high percentages. It doesn't matter if you or your opponent have a high percentage, it will still proc. I've seen two or three tournament vids with the announcers being surprised that it happens, saying they've never seen it before.

It´s really a pity that he is not that popular in Smash although he is one of the most unique fighters of this series thanks to his Aura ability. A pretty good video. I learned some stuff. However how did you not mention that his up B can change direction during flight? This is super important and you even did it once in the video (7:48). You can start out in an up angle to soar over an opponent and then swoop behind them and bypass freefall. It's hard to control, but a very important part of the skill. Please at least put an annotation or something. You don't have to go into detail in this video. You could save it for another, but not even mentioning it makes it sound like the only options you have are the cardinal directions.

Lucario’s up B was more easier to control in Sm4sh and Brawl than in ultimate because it was consistent with the direction. Going far right or left will make lucario go up to straight down making the recovery such a pain. They nerfed his recovery so badly.

@@thelucas2000 Worst matchups are characters with extended hotboxes examples Marth, Chrom, Roy, Ike, Cloud, Shulk, Link, basically if you put two players of the same skill level. Those are more likely to win primarily because of their range they can win neutral easier you have to rely more on reads and patience, they can mostly just spam safe options and it's hard for Lucario.

You could pick the direction of Lucario's counter since Brawl actually! Though in Brawl, the input was simply holding the opposite direction Lucario was facing. As mentioned in your video, you need to pick the direction Lucario faces in Ultimate. Great video; Lucario has been my fav since Brawl, so it's nice to see more resources come out about his mechanics.

There's no sense in doing a third part to talk about B-reversals. 2.0 released, and B-reversal is now literally useless. Hitstun for the sphere's hitbox was reduced, so now you can't cancel into U-smash or B-air.
