Hello mate. The slipring can fit either way,in some alternators it matters,but not in this one.

Is it normal that the rotor touches the stator? Doesn't seem good but I dismantled my A127 and I see no way to avoid it...

hello you should do an alternator from the Mitsubishi Pajero or Nissan Patrol with the vacum pump on the back :)
