Of all the reasons to turn his back on Lucas, Dillon picks the time where the only thing Lucas did was be late to their date. And then Dillon asks Freya out in front of Lucas. It’s like he’s punishing him for being late. And Carter is stalking and harassing Lucas because of his sexuality. Spying on him, listening to his conversations, changing him around school, trying to get him to talk about his sexuality. Carter deserved to be pushed after his behavior. I feel so sorry for Lucas.

I mean Lucas has done foul behavior before the whole “late to their date” moment. Dillion like freya but if Lucas actually was comfortable with his sexuality and said “i want u Dillion” then Lucas would be his

@@repepps2275 Dillon wanted Lucas to show up and would’ve been happy to see him. Lucas said he was sorry that he was late and that he was “here and ready”, so maybe you missed that. Also in real life, you can’t force someone to be ok with their sexuality. But if you hate Lucas, just say that.

Exactly. This storyline hits way too close to home for me. Being a teacher it makes me furious how some people are actually justifying what Carter is doing… our main priority in school’s is putting student’s safety first, both Carter and John Paul are doing the opposite allowing this to continue. Carter should be more focussed on Lucas’ behaviour because that is his job, not changing a child’s sexuality. And the storyline surrounding Lucas’ sexuality is similar to mine because as someone with a gay parent everyone would expect us to feel comfortable in our sexuality but it’s really not the case. Especially when we see and hear negative things come from it in life. I don’t condone what Lucas did but he has every right lashing out on Carter. Dillon has no right to treat Lucas in that way over one night.

I also blame jhon Paul for this because he saw that Carter behavior was dangerous for both the school and the community but still decided to aggravate him by pursuing him now making 100 times dangerously unstable leaving Carter insecurity to project ontopoor Lucas and still did not alert the community to carters dangerous mentality because even now everyone still believes Carter a good person trusting him making it even worst if Lucas wants to confess whats happening nobody would believe him

I must be living in an alternative world because I thought Dillon would be apologizing to Lucas for jumping into bed with Freya... I mean, yeah, Lucas was late but he DID show up and was finally ready to have a conversation...

Nah. I was pretty sure Dillon was going to be too p[prideful to care about why Lucas was late, or that Lucas even showed up. HE's kind of a selfish person. If you watch him when he first came to Holyoaks, he was kind of arrogant, selfish, disrespectful, insensitive, got into all sorts of trouble from vandalism, to almost murder, so I was pretty sure he was going to make everything about himself, and I was pretty sure he was going to have sex with Freya just to spite Lucas for being late, and that he was going to blame Lucas for it happening, because he was late, and not apologize to either Lucas or Freya. I'm at a point where I honestly want Lucas to find someone else. DIllon is starting to remind me of the type of guys Ste always gets manipulated and hurt by. I don't want that whole Ste Hay story on repeat. I want Lucas Hay story to be different than Ste's story.

I don't know why John Paul wouldn't have told James about what Carter is doing. Because once James finds out the thruth about Carter. He's going to feel bad and have to answer to Ste again. I wonder if John Paul will face backlash from people after Carter gets exposed and John Paul knew the whole time.

Well does John Paul know that Lucas is struggling with his sexuality or that Lucas thinks he's gay?So maybe John Paul at this time in the story thinks Carter honestly wants to help Lucas with no ulterior motives.However i think John Paul would step up and say something if he realizes Carter is trying to convert Lucas but i don't think he would reveal Carter is gay.

I don't think James will have to answer to Ste over this. Ste is too preoccupied as it is, but honestly, if we remember, Ste was the one who signed Lucas up to these Carter sessions in the first place last month. They had one session, and then the show sort of forgot about it, and I thought, hey, maybe they won't do that horrible Lucas conversion therapy storyline after all, but nope, it's getting a reboot. Now both of Luca's dad's have given Carter the okay to have one on one special sessions with Lucas to 'fix' his behavior, meaning Lucas will have literally no adult to go to for help after this incident. I really, really, really am starting to hate Carter.

@@aph1976 I honestly can't see how JP hasn't figured it out yet. He's literally the poster child for Gaydar. If there's a closeted gay guy in the show, he will find them, and often, he will try to date and fix them. Lucas and DIllon's feelings were so obvious that Carter noticed it, so I can't imagine mr Gaydar himself JP not noticing. There were scenes in the past with Lucas and Dillon, where Jp looked at them, as if he was starting to notice. More so, Carter and Lucas were being pretty loud in a school hallway. If JP and James didn't hear Carter badgering him about his sexuality from twenty feet away, just around t5he corner, they both have to have had earplugs in.

John Paul was left in the dark, he had no idea that Garreth got into his head. Which is why he seemed so confused when Carter told him to leave him alone. So I don't think he really knows what's going on about the conversion therapy, especially since Carter promised to stop.

There are some people who take a long time to make a decision. They take so long because when they do commit, they really commit. It really means something to them. The Lucas character seems like this. Then there are people who are the reverse: they are ready to get involved with all kinds of things, but when the time comes to commit or to do the right thing when it maters most - they may not. The Dillon character seems like this. Why can't Dillon have some understanding, when it matters most? (Also, why can't Lucas have better texting/ phone communication skills?)

Initially I wanted Dillon and Lucas to get together. Now I think it is probably best that they don't. Lucas for months has been running hot and cold with Dillon. Dillon needs to be with someone who is ready to be with him. Lucas needs to sort himself out, and if he has an ounce of self-respect, he won't date Dillon now. I don’t think Lucas can date Dillon after he slept with Freya - this will always cause trust issues. Obviously its going to be a difficult time for Lucas with the upcoming conversion therapy storyline, but once that storyline has come to its conclusion and Lucas has started to accept his sexuality hopefully they will introduce a new character to be his boyfriend, which I am sure will bring more drama.

Yes, Dillon has the right to do whatever he wants and not wait for Lucas, But if he really wants to be with Lucas, he must understand him and be patient with him Lucas was ready to open his heart and he accepted the date he may not have to wait He ruined everything, but what I hate now is that he could apologize to him and tell him why he did this and he and Lucas could start over, but no He does this and asks for a date with Freya in front of Lucas and He can't see how upset Lucas is And to tell him that it is easy for him may be easy for you Dillon but not for Lucas that it is not about you Dillon What is the purpose of entering into a relationship with Freya now? Are you in a hurry to enter into a relationship and the reason does not matter Being with Lucas had some challenges and difficulties, so you went for the easier option Just because you can Doesn't mean you should do it knowing that you are in love with another person and that you are not being honest And you do this because you are hurt by Lucas, because he does not accept himself as quickly as you want, and because you want to hurt Lucas And make him jealous and push him to come out This is not fair to Freya or Lucas

A esta relación le falta algo, demasiado forzada, realmente veo muy poco, la paso rápidamente, la escena donde se perfuma luego se encuentra cono que ve, para mí m lo cambió todo. Salvando la relación principal de Ste y Harry + sus padres, hijos y algunos más, es todo bastante impostado, artificial, además de fuera de lugar. La muerte de Harry, que no entendí, que tendría que haber supuesto el fin de la serie, me decepcionó. Pero encima sigue con el personaje tóxico de James, deplorable, no se puede añadir mucho más. Quizás reiterar la falta emocional, no trasmite nada, falla una parte claramente, la diferencia con la relación Ste & Harry. Ahí tenía que haber terminado. De lo visto, poco, se salvan, para mí, Ste y su hijo. El resto, lo veo demasiado forzado, no me transmite emociones!!.
