God, I almost choked on my soda when Lucas said "I think my dad dressed up as a sailor or something". The Harry/Ste flashback was reeeeeeal. Also, I don't know why Lucas even bother trying to play it off like it is Dillon who is madly in love when the mere mention of his name turns Lucas in to this emoji 😍 Mate, look in the mirror lol. And finally JP, who already knew Carter dabbled in conversion therapy is connecting the dots. About time.

I know, I felt sooo sorry for JP when he mentioned that. JP was in love with Ste at this point in time if I remember correctly, and he was the one who outed Starry out of anger/jealousy

Nope, not yet. Takes time to break through this level of brain washing. I think the only thing that will break the spell is outing Carter, that way Lucas will have to face the fact his been fed bs and there is no curing.

It's so confusing, like is Lucas just coming up with this stuff he says to Carter, as a way to escape having to do another torture session with Declan, or does he really mean it? Carter already threatened Lucas last episode with a Declan torture session because he lied about having sex with Frankie, and Carter thought it was Lucas's idea to lie about it, to cover up him still liking guys. Honestly, though, after seeing how cheerful and relaxed and happy Lucas seemed when he was with JP and Sally, talking about Dillon and Pride, I got to wonder if he came up with that whole terrorist plot at the end, just to get Carter back to believing in him, because Carter was about to throw him under the bus with Declan hard core, and that involves hours of torture from beatings to pain punishment with objects. Lucas just may be terrified at this point. Once Ste and James set him down the Carter path, and he set foot down that rabbit hole looking for a 'better' life, it's become extremely dangerous and painful to try and step back out. Carter's a grown man, and even he is still terrified of getting caught and told on to Declan. They held Carter down and beat him the last time he got caught. Imagine being 16 like Lucas, instead of 40 something like Carter, and having a group of grown men hold you down and beat you. I'm out and proud, but even I would make up some bs homophobic story, if it meant I wouldn't get tortured for hours by a group of lunatics, and I'm older, taller, and stronger than Lucas by far.
