When this first came out I said, “what’s wrong with Breakfree CLP?” Idk if it switch owners again but one thing is a fact! B.F is now $23 a can and Lucas is $11. So I’ll be switching now

Why don't you sell that in Puerto Rico? You guys make good products

Much respect for Jerry Miculek. And Lucus makes top stuff. But this video kind of says there is no reason to buy anything other than the CLP, lol. It protects, which is definitely another level from most in Louisiana. And cleans tremendously with the dirty rag. But lots of bottles out there here. Why would I want anything other than the CLP?

It’ll clean carbon for sure and has rust inhibitors. But, it’s not an all in one.

@@zazaraza7051 But it pretty much is, you just need to use it to clean your gun and then after it's clean just leave a thin film on it and then all you need is a small needle bottle of oil to apply oil to a couple spots and you're done.

It's really true... If you clean your gun as you should, you don't need specialized carbon stuff, lead remover, etc. That has its place for neglected guns.

Seriously that Lucas clp crap doesn't work! Hoppes #9 works best to remove powder.
@UKSportsFan3 жыл бұрын
Hoppes #9 is one of the best at removing heavy fouling, but that's not what CLP is designed for. CLP is meant to do light cleaning, but more importantly lubricate and protect. If you want a Lucas product for heavy cleaning comparable to Hoppes #9, use their Gun Cleaner or Bore Solvent.

@@UKSportsFan so I assume you've used this product with great success? The Lucas gun cleaner.
